i thought SAO is bettter than AW, but it ended up not being as good as i expected.

yeah in begin i thought SAO was way better to but they went way to fast up in no time they were at floor 50 thats no fun anymore

the novel was like that too (with another volume dedicated to fill in the gaps between the floor),
and to add, the novel does add an extra volume which shows on what happened within the gap left by volume 1 (aincrad) between the time skip with the floors (in which btw is a time gap of 2 years, so its impossible to show it all in 24 episodes only), and besides the novel has more than one arcs, in which is a tad spoilish to mention
