I know this is an anime, but the beach scene when everyone is jumping and playing in the ocean in an almost slow mo way was extremely cheesy and cliche :')

Does it have to do with the thing that Matsunaga left in the classroom?

Was the trip outside Yomiyama? If it was then that *thing* that Matsunaga left was supposed to stop the calamity then maybe someone found that *thing* and made things worse by making the calamity not stop even outside yomiyama?

Good Ep, bit slow but good. Im sure the trailers for the next episodes are getting more and more cryptic though lol. I think i have an idea who is the dead one in the class, but im not sure. This is brilliant anime, cant wait for more :)
