he's so cute >.< and i hope he and arrietty will come to fall in love with each other (now it is kind of a one-sided love ^^°) but sho also matches really good to arrietty (with exception of his high ^^°)... <3
i loved this movie *_* but i must say they could have done more out of this... meybe ifthey would part the story in two movies they could tell more about the different characters and could show an after-operation sho ^.^ (and of course show more spiller scenes <3)

FINALLY FOUND IT ;D

Truly a pleasure to watch altho I felt it ended too soon. It progressed rather slowly only to have a lack luster ending not very appealing!

This movie was excellent. Not only was the music superb, the way I was able to see the world through the borrowers eyes was beautiful, really made me appreciate the little things (no pun intended.)

And damn the end got me, such a bittersweet and beautiful ending to a wonderful tale. This has tied with Howls Moving Castle as my favorite Miyazaki film

hm I actually liked the ending!
In the very beginning Sho stated already, that he would never forget the week he spent at his grandmother's home, so whether or not Arrietty had stayed in that house those two wouldn't have been together...
And for Miyazaki Hayao such an ending isn't really unusual (Chihiro for example)
This film's music was really awesome as well!

pretty story

you don't really check the facts about the anime you are watching, do you? this movie was not directed by myazaki but by Hiromasa Yonebayashi! It's the first time he directed something for ghibli and, although he's 38, he's the youngest debutant in the history of ghibli. i knew all this months before the actual release of the movie so...what the hell?!

oh, and thanks. it really is a treat: i've been looking all over the internet for it and couldn't find it although it's been a year since it came out. bit weird, actually.
