Years come and years go, all that's left behind from those times are memories, your actions, and well '09 anime. During the month of reflection also known as January, I reflect the previous year thinking not about what that year brought for me, but what anime it left behind for generations after it to enjoy. What I made below is just a quick guide on what I thought were the best 10 of the year, let us know your top's as well in the discussion thread as well.

10th - Basquash!

In a world called "Earth Dash" where basketball seems to be the most boring sport out there, comes robo basketball where people drive around in these basketball robots and play ball. Unfortunately the game is so boring in real life that Dan JD wants to change the world of basketball with his own version of freestyle open city basketball. The show starts out decently enough with really nice graphics, effects, and so on but sadly it get's hit early on with cliched charactar types, story line, and then later it starts to lose focus. Still worth the watch? If just for the amazing graphics yes, but other then that just try out some real sport anime's like cross game from this season.

9th - K-On

This show's here to show people how much I love K-On a show about a bunch of girls who start a light music group at their school. Like many other people this show's either or hit or miss. Many people I talked to loved this show, but it just didn't hit off with me. This show is what I consider an out of touch slice of life that doesn't deal with any aspect of real life, except one specific point. In K-On's case that would be everyone's happy playing light instruments. Ah what a happy world. There seems to be another show this season which has the same drawing style, music style, and genre as K-on called Sora no Woto. (I watched the first episode of Sora no Woto and it isn't something I exactly enjoy, it was out of touch with the war, not to mention the story felt out of place)
