Beautiful music! Hopefully this event is the stimulus for Rin to take her training seriously and/or at least start thinking things through. I like that she doesn't want to depend on Manji (he kinda sucks anyway) but she needs to take another path or become a better swordsman like the guy said

All in all, what he said makes perfect sense. In any form of martial art, a counter is devised for every form of attack, so if two perfectly trained persons would face each other, they would come to a stale mate. The one who wins is the one moving outside the "acceptable" forms.
