So many thoughts and possibilities racing through my mind. Loved the series; it made me think and want to anticipate what was next. Ahh, the adrenaline rush!
***SPOILERS***
Don't read on until you've seen the very end. Don't want to spoil it for you! =]
1. The hay-carriage coachman's (driver's) face is avoided.
2. C2's Code (mark on her forehead isn't shown; Lelouch could possibly be immortal because of this)
3. The 'pink' origami crane was the last crane Nunnally made for Lelouch.
("I said that Geass was the power of the King which would condemn you to a life of solitude. Hmph... I think maybe that's not quite correct... Right? Lelouch?")
4. What C2 says can imply that the coachman is indeed Lelouch. But there is also the argument that C2 talks to 'spirits' or something throughout the series and could merely be talking to the deceased Lelouch. And how she says that maybe what she said isn't correct, I can't help but point out the 'solitude(alone)' part. Maybe she meant she was wrong with that part, since --if Lelouch is the coachman-- the two of them are together, and he is not left completely alone.
Brilliant ending, although, it does leave you wondering and wanting more. =]
This is how DN should have ended, dammit >.<
Well with a few tweaks of course.
But yeah, topping this in terms of heroics is pretty much impossible.
Then again it kind of amuses me how along the road no one seemed to have a clue about how they were gonna accomplish their goals.
Suzaku, for example, kept serving the side responsible for the massacres without realizing that if he had joined the rebellion, the war would have been over much quicker than his attempts to change Brittania from within would have taken.
And Lelouch should at least have tried to explain the whole Euphemia incident, no matter how outrageous it would sound. Either it would smooth things over or they'd just hate him more, he could've handled both outcomes.
Anyway, great ending, it keeps you guessing until the very last moments.
Supreme King 1 Week, 6 Days, 9 Hours, 1 Minute Ago
that was a great ending but sad i have to admit am a guy that does not show emotions but that made me cry and am not scared to admit that
that was good ending and i feel that it enabled lelouch to do what he thought was right and just in order to destroy that kind of rule and ongoing dictatorship
loveskonata 1 Week, 4 Days, 2 Hours, 6 Minutes Ago
one of the best animes ive ever seen, it totally deserves a new series or spin off, i dont think lelouche died i think he has immorality like C2 and V2 and is know living with C2 thats why C2 said "Right Lelouche" i think he was the guy controlling the the cart
there are many reasons I personaly think he is alive.
1. they clearly avoided showing the driver of the carriage's face
2. CC was talking to him at the end, many say she could be talking to spirits. but she also no longer had the Mark on her Forehead, this could show that she passed the imortality onto Lulu
3. some say that lulu's father passes his imortality on to him when he grabed his throat, clearly this could be why lulu stoped suzaku from interfering.
4. Orange-kun clearly let zero (suzaku) by him in the end, he said he would do anything for lulu and protect him. didnt he also order the nightmares to stop fireing as he would tank him on his own?
5. Orange smiles right before he ordered the retreat. seems kinda strange.
6. Orange ordered a retreat in the first place... he didnt order them to kill zero... they had nightmares. they clearly had the upperhand over a few people with guns, and unarmed civilians.
7. many times, A new season of an anime isnt brought on because of the last ones ending but rather how popular the anime was. it is for pure economical reasons. and IMO this anime is very popular.
8. they showed a paper crane at the end. nunnaly said mensioned the whole (fold 1000 papercranes get a wish) maybe she did this and wished for him to be alive.
now again these are only my opinions.
if anyone wishes to discuss this with me. do send me a message :)
