Wow. This was a really sad episode, and the dull rain suited the case really well. The last part with Conan and Ran looking into the rain, commenting on the cake, was....a bit unsettling, though suiting. The whole case leaves a sad, bitter aftertaste in my mouth. I think I'll pass on the cake today as well...

Y'all keep saying you don't like the ending, but I think endings that end with a sad note are the best. They're more realistic and rather deep. It's pretty awesome to see that in an anime in my opinion.
