Wow, the Ginyu Force is already here. I noticed they skipped the mini filler where the Dragonball falls in the ocean and Bulma has to chase after it.

This episode covers eps 58-60 of DBZ. (As the previous comment noted, episodes 59 and 60 were filler episodes with Bulma and the crab and were completely skipped)

This is my favorite part of Dragonball (early Namek before Ginyu's arrival). I really love the multiple parties hunting for the Dragonballs, something later plot arcs completely dropped. Then it's just about fighting, but here, there's strategy. Gohan completely tricked Vegeta.

My other favorite plot arc is the Red Ribbon arc in DB, for similar reasons. Also, those eps are hilarious, and they mostly forgot about humor by this point. I miss Tao Pai-Pai killing people with his tongue or the incredibly flaming General Blue!
