Well this has been what I observed. When the machines got cut you would see a **** load of blood come out right? At that time I knew that people were getting killed. But THEN when everyone went to the big orb thing in the sky and they first met the pink Eureka the black guys ship got cut and blood came out but no one inside was hurt.... so now I see the machines get cut and sometimes they blow up and sometimes they don't, sometimes they bleed and sometimes they don't, but when the do blow up they are usually cut in half but the bottom half blows up and the top half with the person inside doesn

like TimeDoesntHeal said, he was to distracted by his awe of the LFO flying without a board.

@yesthatguy there aren't always explosions, but arguable it could be said the only confirmed kill is the last one he finishes off with the rifle.

@Pouk the "blood" could actually be hydraulic fluid which is similar in color to blood. Personally, I think that we are to assume every downed craft is a kill unless we are shown otherwise. The differences in effects are probably to keep things from getting boring. Otherwise I agree with you.
