Ok this is actually starting to make more sense now at least... Right from the get go I've been concerned at how inconsistent AO is from eureka 7...

1. There are oceans in AO. If you remember, there are no oceans on eureka 7's earth.
2. They are using present day names for geography in AO, and the year is somewhere around the beginning of the 21st century. Elena mentioned something about generation bleu being formed in 1982, but this does not make any sense since Eureka 7 took places at least ten thousand years after humans fled earth from the scub coral in the first place.
