Aww another anime with a rushed ending T.T A great ending but i expected something more conclusive and satisfying T.T

Not rushed. This is as prequel to an ongoing series, so the ending is supposed to be open ended. It was determined from the beginning how it would start and end, and I believe they did it fairly well. The story after this is Fate/Stay Night, though I personally prefer the game over the anime for the multiple endings.

What I don't understand is when Saber went back to her time in Fate Stay Night, she thought everything was just a dream and went on with her life, but here she remembered everything to be real. Unless she just made it seem like a dream when she fell in love with Shiro so she wouldn't be so sad for having to leave?

Well I'm satisfied with that ending! This last episode was pretty much all of the flashbacks that happened in the sequel.

It's part of her pact with the Holy Grail. Usually, the heroic spirits don't remember anything about the holy Grail War, even if they're summoned twice. However, Saber's pact with the Grail makes it possible. So until she wins the Grail she will retain all her memories from her time during the Holy Grail Wars she's participated in, but is forced to relive her end every time she fails. Most heroic spirits just kinda get put into the vault, but Saber (Arthur) made a deal so she could optimize her chances of being summoned into the War.

Wouldn't the Lancelot storyline (betraying Arthur by loving his wife; Queen Guinevere) not make any sense in this anime since King Arthur was actually a girl? Unless Guinevere was somehow still Arthur's wife/queen despite that; which as a religious-type knight seems extremely unlikely.

Confusing ending but it as a cycle.rebirth of the quest for the Grail?I don't like symbolism give me a clear understandable ending But I did like the anime. What was all that nonsense about Guinevere? She was King Arthur's wife, was Arthur a lesbian?Wow the writer's went a little overboard with how they tied things up.Thanks kamina for the upload

(CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!)Another Epic anime comes to end!.....this was an awsome episode...The emotions of saber felt so strong i felt very sad for her....what i couldnt understand is that why was gilgamesh naked?!!!.......anyways im happy kiritsugu adopted shiro in the end...otherwise it would hve been a very sad ending....also very sad to c Aoi-san as she lost her concious...but either way awesome anime!!!!

Why did kiritsigu kill Irisviel and ilyaviel??? Can someone explain the end for me??? I didn't really get it. Is it usefull to watch fate/stay night to understand it a little better???

why do people make things backwards, this was 10 years before fate/stay night yet fate stay night came out first...though explosive and powerful this ending was the beginning...weird
