Interesting...but I'm glad that they change the characters so much, making Saber female was a smart move in my opinion! and "gilgamesh?" seems much cooler in the current version than this prototype version...

Actually, it's based on the ORIGINAL plot line put forward for Fate/Stay Night. "Arthur" was changed to a woman later because the main character--The Master--would have been a woman. Which is why it's called "Prototype".

It's unknown whether there will ever be an actual series, from what I can gather.

They should of just done one in the future of the original story and have Archer be not a master but a person fighting servants since he was a master in 1 point in time. It would be awesome.
