Name: Atticus Belmont
Age: 22
Appearance:
Personality:
Atticus usually keeps a calm face and demeanor that seems soothing along with a small smile. Atticus will never do anything to willingly break a promise he has made, to either himself or to others no matter what the cost of not acting brings. Very stubborn, but at the same time can be tricked into making a promise.
On the surface Atticus appears unmotivated, unless it is with something that will help him reach his ultimate goal. Then Atticus shows devotion that is only equaled by the amount of devotion he puts in to keep his promises. Usually this involves hunting down sealing designated Magi. Has a tendency to speak his thoughts out loud.
Status: Magus
Position: Enforcer
History: Born into a Magus family that held a reputation of having heirs with a volatile attribute usually fire or lightning have been the ones to receive the crest. Atticus and Jessica were both born to this family. Only a few seconds apart, and both possessed a strong number of magic circuits in the family’s history. Starting magical education early had been the family’s main priority for generations. This generation proved to be most difficult in choosing an heir however. In an effort to one up each other Atticus and Jessica both attempted to undercut the other to gain the coveted role. Atticus won after an especially nasty undercut, but Jessica just seemed want to laugh when the announcement was made. A few days later Jessica came to Atticus and told him that she would be leaving soon to live with her new family. Atticus was shocked to hear that she was going to be adopted away, but she only smiled and took his hands. To this day Atticus remembered her words clearly “Hey, don’t start crying now. You’ve won. We might not meet again, but I want you to promise me that you’ll try to find me, okay?” She always tried to act the older sister. She was exceptionally good at that role though.
Life as the heir to their family was harder than Atticus expected. Pressure compelled him to become as much as he could be, but his mother always expected more. As much as the pressure taxed him Atticus was glad he could bear it in his sister’s place. Atticus being attuned to water, while his mother was attuned to fire magic could only help Atticus so far. Atticus was able to learn curses with her though. Atticus seemed to be gifted with curses and his mother seemed to truly enjoy teaching them to him. Eventually Atticus’ body accepted the crest with as little resistance as was to be expected gaining him a little freedom. At seventeen he entered clock tower to further his studies and actualize his greatest desire.
While studying his attribute with more vigor than he was able to achieve with just his mother from teaching him, Atticus was approached by a student. She said she was looking for an assistant, of course if you asked him he would have told you she was looking for someone to torture. Olivia seemed almost like a queen at first, but she haunted Atticus with the promises she made him make. Olivia wasn’t all too cruel however, she promised to teach Atticus spells in exchange for his services. This didn’t interest Atticus all too much until she demonstrated her prowess in curses by firing a fin shot into a book Atticus was reading at the time. It wasn’t until a couple of years later that Atticus was accepted into the fold of the Enforcers.

A simple curse originating from Scandinavia, decreases the physical health of the target. Because the curse properly said is released from the caster’s index finger and the target must be within the field of vision to be aimed at, it is dubbed Gandr Shot.
