Personality: Quiet. Calculating. Cunning. Cold Blooded. All the qualities of a snake. And like a snake she is very pretentious. Always smiling to charm everyone, Valeria does not care much about other people, and is mostly in it just for the money and entertainment.

BIRTH:
Twenty seven years ago in a far flung village in some South-Eastern Asian Country, a couple, Corazon and Daniel, have been trying to conceive a child for five years. They tried everything, from drinking tonics to praying to different gods of old. None worked. Almost about to give up, the couple hears of a rumor of an old priestess that lives in a secluded part of the forest named Melinda, who suggested that they pray to an old pagan god called ULIG. It would require Corazon to climb up to the mountains, carrying the statue of ULIG, find a dense forrested area, and pray for 7 days.
Daniel was skeptical, but Corazon was desperate. She wanted to give Daniel a child. She did not want to dishonor him any further, especially when Corazon is known to be the village harlot. For love, and also maybe for the desire to have a child, Daniel allowed Corazon to do the pilgrimage.
At the mountain, the week almost done, Corazon was about to collapse from exhaustion, but she kept praying and praying. A white snake slithers down from a tree and crawls up the body of the statue. Corazon, having her head bent down and rumbling her prayers, did not hear the snake's hiss. It crawled down and curled just infront of her bended knees. Coiling, the snake raised it head and opened it's mouth revealing it's black tongue and fangs. Without warning it springs upward and buries it's poisoned fangs into Corazon's stomach. She lets out a loud scream and then loses consciousness.
The next day she wakes up. Remembering her encounter with the snake, Corazon checks her belly, finding no sign of a snake bite however. She stared at the statue before her. It seemed to beckon her that she had done enough. She returns home, to a very very worried Daniel... (well we all know what happened afterwards  )
Nine months later, Corazon gave birth to healthy girl, which apparently was not followed by another baby, much to Daniel's demise. The couple loved their little girl which they named Valeria. But life was not gonna be easy even if you have all the love of caring parents. For the villagers, the fact still remains, Corazon was a harlot, and for sure, her daughter will be a harlot as well.
EARLY CHILDHOOD:
Valeria was continuously picked on by the children of the village and was always followed by the constant whispers of women even some of the men. Truth be told however, Valeria was not like any child of the village. She had long thick hair, bright brown eyes and skin that was porcelain. It was different from her mother, who had black eyes and bronzed skin.
One day when she was playing alone along the farming plains, a group of children decides to bully her. They called her harlot and threw rocks at her. When she fell to the ground, one of the bigger kids, kicked her and picked her up by her hair, her feet tip toing off the ground. She kept screaming, her eyes closed, for them to stop. Suddenly one of the other kids, picked up a very large stone and raised it, about to throw it at her head. From the great fear of dying, Valeria felt a sudden surge of power from within. Before the rock was thrown at her face, she opened her eyes, now a grayish white. The child holding the stone, stopped and his arms going limb, now had a blank stare on his face, unmoving, the stone was dropped on top of his feet. But he didnt react, he just stood there, with a petrified gaze.
The other child who held Valeria by the hair was dumbfounded, yet he did not let go, instead pulled her down harder and attempted to bash Valeria's head to the soil. Before he could do so, five black snakes emerged from Valeria's hair and bites the child on the hands and face. The venom they excreted instantly killed him. The other children who watched the events transpire, were so scared they ran back to the village, leaving Valeria, still crying from fear from what just happened.
She comes home, her mother, nagging her about what happened, but she could only cry. A few hours later a mob of villagers carrying axes, pitchforks and torches came running towards the little hut where Corazon and Daniel lived. They demanded they give up their daughter to be killed for she was a monster from hell. A product of a dark ritual that allowed them to have her born.
Daniel and Corazon as if it was extinct, hid Valeria beneath the floors. Daniel confronted the villagers, but that only angered them more. They stabbed and killed him and decided to burn the hut so that Valeria and Corazon will be exterminated. Corazon however persuaded that Valeria run to the forest and to never look back. Valeria did what her mother told her, she however looked back at the burning hut and was sure she heard the screams of her mother.
For months, Valeria lived in the woods eating wild fruits. She also took this time to be better acquainted with her new found companions -- the snakes in her hair. They protected her from danger and helped her to survive. Her eyes petrified the wild dogs and wild boars that tried to kill her. And the snakes of the forest she learned to talk to.
While walking through the woods, Valeria did not notice a rope trap that was set up. She was caught in it and hung upside down, trying to struggle, the snakes in her hair came out as a first reaction of defense. Out of the shrubs a man in full combat gear appears and approaches the trapped Valeria. He stops however just a few feet away, far enough for the snakes not too reach, as if sensing danger. His face seem to look towards Valeria's, it was strange however that it was as if he was not affected by her eyes.
The man smiled. "My name is Martin Vetrova. I set up this trap for a boar, but I didn't expect that I'd catch a little girl instead." He chuckled. He waved his hands in the air. "Can you tell your pets to not attack me while I untie you?"
Valeria was quite surprised at this. She obliged and the snakes concealed themselves under her hair. The man cut the rope and caught her in his arms. It was then Valeria realized that this person was blind. Martin took her with him and adopted Valeria as his own daughter, to which she adopted the Vetrova surname.
LATER CHILDHOOD:
Martin took Valeria to his home country. He saw potential in the little girl and considered it a gift from God to find such in a desolate area he only visited on a whim because of a mission. To protect the other residents from her petrifying gaze, she was made to wear special contact lenses. Valeria's training in Martin's school of assassins was strict and harsh. She was trained in hand to hand combat of different styles, archery, artillery, literature, language and computer programming. As an optional choice (mainly because Martin loved a good drink), she studied bar tending. Valeria however took a special liking to the art of the whip. It felt second skin to her and like it was only natural that she use it as her primary offensive and defensive weapon.
When she turned sixteen, she was put through her first mission. To infiltrate and eliminate a mob boss for the sum of 50 million dollars. Alone, she entered the mansion, first cutting off the electricity, and then proceeding to kill every guard and gang member there in by breaking their necks and shooting them in the head. For the target, however she reserved a special treat. Valeria grabbed him by the throat as he slept, lifted his head up to face her. She lifted her head gear and made him look into her eyes, paralyzing the scared old man. but before he could lose all his senses, he felt the bites of five snakes on his face.
ADULTHOOD:
By age twenty two, Valeria was given independence by Martin, who then had terminal cancer. Even with a heart that hated petty humans, Valeria cried for this one person who saw in her something special. After Martin's death, Valeria leaves the country where she grew uo and heads to Utopia. She gets a job at a STRIP club as a bar tender where she has been working till present day.
PRESENT DAY:
Valeria makes a living by bartending. As a side, she hacks into the police computer system to check for Bounty Jobs, mostly aiming for the ones above 500k USD bounties. Sometimes, thru some special connections she has made in the few years she stayed in the city, Valeria takes theft jobs, often taking place overseas in museums or private collections. Most of her jobs currently come from a secret organization she started working for a few months after she moved to Utopia.
