Personality: Being a mage of both White and Black magic makes Vann’s personality a bit strange. Sometimes he might be all friendly while at another point he will mercilessly kill his target without a second thought. He isn’t used to technology though and will often try not to ride on cars and stuff as he seems to get motion sickness easily enough.

History: Vann was raised by an orphanage for a few years, while there he showed great skill with using a fake sword. A group saw this and took Vann in as one of them, improving his sword skills with a real sword and taught him magic. Eventually after becoming a Red Mage, Vann was sent on various quests mainly to help with peace throughout the land. It was during a mission that something went horribly wrong, what should have been a simply a Protection mission suddenly changed when a large group of monsters attack Vann and his group. When the most powerful of the monsters showed its face Vann and the other Red Mages worked together and each fired their most powerful spells, this destroyed the monster but somehow ended up creating a hole that sucked Vann in and then closed. He was presumed dead but instead woke up in the current time having travelled far into the future. Unsure of all these sudden changes to the world Vann went to check the headquarters of the Red Mages and found that it had been unused for many years. Vann has since then tried to learn to deal with all this ‘future technology’ as he goes about living by the Red Mage’s code. Because of the time travel Vann has forgotten quite a few spells.

Origin: While originally Vann had little control over magic and his spells were weaker than most he never gave up with the training. One day he snuck into a cave designed for testing those ready to become masters hoping that he would be able to accomplish it. It was in that cave he was suddenly attacked by a high class monster. He did his best to fight the creature but the thing was too powerful and Vann was nearly dead. It was then that Vann’s powers truly awoke and he destroyed the demon with a large surge of pure magical energy. Since then Vann has learned to control his powers.

Powers: Black & White magic. Currently knows 4 spells of each.
Black Magic
Fire: Shoots a fireball with limited tracking.
Blizzard: Shoots a bunch of ice shards like a shotgun.
Thunder: Sends a strike of lightning down from the skies. (Is much weaker than actual lightning)
Aero: Whips up a small whirlwind.

White Magic
Cure: Heals wound slightly within a limited radius of the caster.
Esuna: Cures poisons and heals burns and other such ‘status effects’.
Haste: Speeds up the target for a limited time.
Shell: Creates invisible armour to up the defence of the target. (This also can allow Vann to change his appearance but without the added defence and can only be applied to himself with only one different look, that is how he manages to have his secret identity with such a different look)

Abilities: Highly skilled with swords but knows how to use other basic weapons.

Weapons: A sacred sword of the Red mages. It has the power to level up black magic that is concentrated through it.
