It is quite possible that he left him on purpose if Kabuto can even tell what is happening around him at all, then Oro walking away and leaving him, withdrawing his power from him, is like ultimate abandonment.
Oro could hear what was going on before he was released so he would of heard what Kabuto and Itachi discussed. Leaving Kabuto there as he did could be the same as saying you are a fool and not worth my time, my power or to be by my side. The more I think about it, if he does not go back for Kabuto, then it was the most cruel thing he could of done to him. Did you take a good look at Kabuto's face after Oro took his power back, he looked like a completely broken lost pup.
Oro is not concerned about Sasuke as such, he still just wants his body and he may know that whatever it is that Sasuke learns will turn the boy in a direction that will not be beneficial to him, he may even discover that Oro had some involvement in things for that matter.
Whatever Oro's reasons for his comment, he is only thinking of himself.
You could be right. Why say that to stop Sasuke from finding out then turn around and help him? Doesnt make much sense.
He could have heard what Itachi said and decided Kabuto did need to learn that lesson and left him there.
Like I said your probably right but who knows.
