it too is "gaming" type of part (has a huge fan right across its lower half)...I went with some thing that can cool itself ...my "desktop" is to be used as a server in the future
please mind I am from Canada so there maybe huge differences in pricing ....my whole machine parts and labour only cost me about 850$ and that included 3 hard drives a primary 500gb and two secondary ones at 2tb each |

my total is coming to be around 950, and i still dont have a CD/DVD ROM drive and im using the stock fan for the CPU god knows what my total will be but... im screwed unless someone will loan me money [wat]
