From time to time I have found myself mispronouncing words in english by thinking they're Japanese. It just happened recently. I'm going through a list of movies. One comes up titled "Namesake." I pronounced it na-ma-sa-key. Then I wondered if it were a city or town in Japan. It took about a minute for me to realize it was in english.
