in that aspect, Scorsese is full of sh it, i mean look at the damn elevator scene!!!
and he definitely missed the part where lau had remorse after he did it; saying that he would rather be dead and yan alive, saying that he would trade places with him, "i do". this was my favorite part of the movie.
