Default What do you Want to See Improve on AnimeCrazy?

Welcome to yet another monthly poll from AnimeCrazy. Essentially what I want to know from you guy's is what do you guy's want to be improved or worked on more on AnimeCrazy. Let us know by voting AND by commenting in the forums. We will truly look at the answers as we have been looking for the last month's comments you guy's have given (which will be in the new version of the site).

The Poll has Ended! Check the next page for the results.<!--more-->

We have learned quite a bit from the survey, for instance:
People in the U.S HATE Megavideo which I totally understand but megavideo is one of the few players which work worldwide, which is why we always tend to have a backup video using megavideo. Of course the people behind AnimeCrazy are quality freaks so we're always trying to find ways to trick video sites into not finding out video's on their higher quality video sites (veoh, vimeo, viddler), but the battle just get's harder and harder, which is why only new releases always have veoh or myspace mirrors. So we are trying but we're human too, and at the moment a 2-4 man team, so we're a bit bogged down with just keeping the updates flowing fast.

Second some people would like downloads from sites like megaupload and rapidshare. I'm totally fine with that as long as the user's are the ones who will help add those links for us. On the new version of the site we're working on we'll be allowing users to help us out with downloads, so if I were you i'd start uploading my collection of shows to megaupload or rapidshare to put up on the new site when our new version is released soon. Just keep in mind. Don't name them things like Soul Eater 44, name them stuff like sssee44 so people won't find and delete them. Also limit each account to a max of 100-130 links as it may be deleted when found. Just make new ones as you go.

Third, people dislike the ads on the site. While we understand that as well, we currently run of 4 dedicated servers, have managed servers, currently using the earnings from the ads to pay for coders (they aren't cheap), and have to pay for licenses, software licenses, hard drives, upgrades, etc and so on. It's not cheap to run a large site, and ads are the best way to keep the site alive without forcing people to pay (which is wrong). We will have an option for users that donate to have no ads on the site in the future, we're working on it. Personally though I use and see all the ads you do, and I enjoy the site just as much. There have been some annoying ads as of lately and I've pinpointed and assassinated some already (Good riddance beeping foe.) If you run into any bad issues just post in the forum feedback issue and we'll murder them asap.

We will be opening the new version of the site to beta testers within the next 2 weeks. So keep your fingers crossed and you might just be able to partake in it when we open the beta.

Peace,
PSPCrazy
