Actually those were the mock arrancar, the ones that turned grandfisher into an arrancar in chapter 25 or something. I think it's episode 8 too, I made a thread about it awhile ago, and realized it was them after rereading some.
The only vasto we've seen is the silhouette during Hitsugaya's speech.
