(kōsokuken) The quick sword:
This technique combines reiatsu and shunpo to create a superior technique. It is akin to shunko or flash cry which augments hakudo except with the use of a held weapon. The theory is by applying a volume of reiatsu to a single arm the user can perform a quick strike and a strike that is stronger than a normal swing. Of course the technique isn’t as strong as shunko but it has the same relation optimising speed. Shunpo is a high speed movement using the main body part, the legs and feet to move at this rate. This can also apply for individual high speed movements of body parts especially in this case the arm.
The usage of the technique vary, in cases a kosokuken user can use the speed of the strike to create simultaneous attacks i.e. in a single strike it can look like the user has added one or two more slashes from the same front, the user can quickly recover from a break (when someone hits your sword to the side) and other uses.
