"Next Generation Hallyu Star" Jang Keun Suk is garnering cheers from "Auntie" fans from Japan.
While filming for the drama series "You're Handsome", which is scheduled to be broadcasted starting on October 7, Jang Keun Suk has around 20 Japanese fans following him around daily on his filming locations. For the drama series Jang has lost 6 -7kg down to a very slender weight of 61kg for the drama. Because of his weight loss, some anguished fans have been providing food for the actor on the set. On the 20th of September, in a café at a filming location in Seoul, more fans showed up than previously, showing his increasing recognition and fame.
The production manager stated on the 23rd that wherever Jang Keun Suk is filming, the Japanese fans follow him around. Due to Jang and his fans, the filming crew and others in the productions are being well provided with abundant amounts of food. He expressed the filming atmosphere is very cheerful. Along with Jang Keun Suk, also stars FT Island's Lee Hong Ki and Park Shin Hae in "You're Handsome" which delves into the story of Idol Stars and their lives and love. Even before the airing of the first episode, the drama is attracting immense attention from Japan and has already sold the license to air there.
