Thank goodness for Kaito and Emiko-sensei or this drama would be purely unwatchable.

Also, I just loved Emiko-sensei getting the front of her dress caught in the door. I saw it coming, but it still made me crack up and the French teacher's expression like, "huh?"

A Romeo and Juliet episode...I guess they had to fit in some kind of obligatory high school plot trope somewhere.

One thing that bugs me, though, is that I was hoping Seira would show some of the solemn/dismissive human attitude that book!Sarah had in order to put Maria in her place, but I guess since this drama's going for the extremes, there will be no bad-ass Seira. lol. Just this unbelievably sweet and sad girl. Indeed, she is a bit stifling, but that's just me and, of course, the grumpy straight-haired girl.

Still loving this, though. It feels very nostalgic, but at the same time very new.
I agree with you. That Maria is "el diablo en bicicleta" (the devil) like we say back home. We'll see how they incorporate the book into the storyline.

Ur right about Kaito and Emiko, too. Love the characters.
Still this is a very good drama, sad, but good and I'll will continue to see it trough.
