not at all, nemu is GREATLY beneficial to mayuri, and mayuri can easily repair any damage done to nemu, so ya, they compliment each other. i dont even think weve seen any other captains and lieutenants work together? and even if they did, they wouldnt be any better off together than any other random pair would be, other than knowledge of each others fighting style.
