You also completely missed my point on the eye statement. I was merely saying both characters dislike being looked at, so much. They go the the extent of mentioning out loud that their going to kill the person because of the way they look at them.
Was the emotion and power speech really necessary? I don't see the connection, sure eyes show emotion but that has nothing to do with the characters having the exact same emotions towards someone eyes.
Their so much alike in many ways, if you think about it. I just noticed the eye remark from Grimmjow right after I rfinished the Sasuke vs. Deidara fight.

Hehe no need to get pissy, I was asking about the similarities because I didn't remember the fights well, they aren't fresh in my mind, it was a while ago I read them, the Gaara fight was at least a year, if not more.
And yes the eye thing was necessary, because I missunderstood what you meant about the eyes.
You talked about the "infatuation with their eyes" not how the villains didn't like being looked at wrong, I honestly didn't remember either of those things, but a simple interest in someones eyes could have been used to show the emotion of the character, and thats all I was saying.
Besides, my "emotion speech" was less than 1 sentence, suck it up lol.
I'll reread those chapters, because I don't remember any similarities, I'm sure they're there, or you wouldn't have said it, but I just can't recall.
