I love Devilman my husband was just saying the other day that you should put it up on Animecrazy. I didnt think it would go through so i didnt bother requesting it but this is just as good ive never seen the live action.


In retrospect. Iam the kind of person where my love of Devilman (or anything else I like alot) carries alot of weight and sometimes can overshadow the lack of quality. So Iam going to say I enjoyed it. Now saying that, they changed alot from the original story this was one of those times where they say thats not always a good thing. The main characters since of purpose and reason for fighting (saving mankind the only way to fight a demon is to become a demon) is never put into play along with the events that draw him further into battle. He wines everytime he has to kill a demon get devilman some cheese. Which is a downer especially since Amon is the Lord of War, the Beast of Hell. All the original meaning behind them have been removed. ie his mom is eaten by a turtle like demon(Jinmen) and her last remaining consciousness becomes apart of his shell. So during the battle every time Devilman goes to attack Jinmen he would turn and show his mothers face freezing devilman from attack and then pummeling him. This deeper attachment has been replaced with only a recently acquired friend who was formally a bully and lasts about 2 min and is over with one punch which despite his desire not to kill he does with almost no hesitation?
