Shikai
Shikai Release Command: ‘The end’s a Miracle: Dream on if you Dare’

Shikai Appearance: The Blade dissolves in a whirl of reiatsu, leaving the user with the sole hilt. In its stead, a Blade entirely made of Murderous Intent (KI) is created. Such blade is but a blur hard to see, just like a wind blade.

Theoretical Explanation of the Shikai:
A sword is just a tool to express a warrior’s murderous intent. Once a warrior realises it, he no longer needs a sword: he can create a blade sharper than anything else, fusing his Killing Intent with the Inner Energy (Ki) inside him. A blade made of Ki is almost impossible to see, since it has no shape nor physical existence.
On a side note, this shikai focuses primarily on Ki’s ability to cut. Energy waves, blades, slashes… everything here is concentrated in order to cut the opponent.

Shikai Special Ability: Satsui unlocks the user’s latent abilities to control his inner Ki, allowing him to fuse it with his murderous intent at will. Satsui’s blade is an example, but there are may other usages to Ki that differ from sword fighting. Ki can be blasted as an energy wave, for example. Also, being the blade made of Ki, and having Ki no ‘form’, the user can change its shape at will.
