That's why I love baseball. I only started playing when I went to college, but learning how to play, making new friends, having many many funny moments and find the love of my life... I just have to say THANKS to baseball!

Martinha, your post has inspired me.

I once wanted to grow up to be a major league pitcher...I had a great grandfather that played and struck out Babe Ruth three times in a game once. But after 7 years, when I was about 15 I got into anime and stopped caring about baseball. Now in an interesting twist of fate I've become obsessed with baseball at the age of 21...and with perfect timing, this anime has inspired me even more.

But I still kind of thought it would be too late to start again. You give me hope though...I don't even care if I even make it past the minors, I just want to play someday, maybe in Japan.

But as for something a little more on topic...wow! This show is ****ing epic!

great series started it 2 days ago finished with the 1st season in no time now off to watch teh 2nd season
