I'm trying to find a program that hardsubs files, preferably one that gives the subtitles a colored shadow. I have a program that softsubs mkvs, I just want a hardsub program and the shadow thing (if its possible, I mean. Plain subs hurt my eyes). Here's a screencap of what I mean: |

Try it this way instead: MKVToolnix 5.8.0 - VideoHelp.com Downloads 1. download this program > open it and add both your video file and the subtitle file and then start muxing 2. when you go on handbrake, select the muxe'd file instead of your original video file. 3. In the subtitle tab where its written 'foreign audio search' click on it and you will see something like 'unknown' below the foreign audio search. select that. 4. Click on add. select the file (below where its written 'track' and other stuff) and tick 'BURNED IN' 5. Start encoding video and enjoy ![]() As for the shadow thing, I recommend you use this software. http://www.aegisub.org/ Its fairly easy and you'll have to edit the subtitle prior to encoding
