the page itself refresh together with the video lol.. it shouldnt be that way.. i loaded half of the video already and was reading comments (funny ones lol) and decided to continue on page 2 but when i do so it loads again the page and the video resets XD so thats it.. ty -element81 of ph

Yea it was the way we designed it. It'll be hard to change it to non reloadable as we'll have to redesign it from scratch if we do that. So for now just open it in a new tab if you want, they are links afterall, and allow you to open new tabs or windows.

So why not link forum threads like it used to be???

This format is not as accessible to getting information
finding out other comments (cause of re-load)...

and other benefits when you can "subscribe" to thread....

Though admittedly I am not a fan of the re-design...
I don't like how my comments/forums are no longer one entity..
I can manage from one point..

If it was doable we would have done it. It simply put wasn't. The forums will be used for discussion, polls, random stuff, the mix. The front end's comments will be for single episode discussion for the most part.

The forums also made you refresh, why is it such a problem now?

Yes. But I was logged in.

SO far it takes about 6-8 log ins just to comment
And I took the advice of clearing my cache...

But to that end..
if I am not on my computer to watch..
I may not have access to certain controls...

Also with the new one..
you can't just search for comments/postings anymore as well??

And one other was.... for comments, advantage...
You know how some comments are not "library" safe?

When they are not part of the page I had no fear of "over the shoulder lookers"... but now I do...
maybe you can "click" to show comments option...
like a spoiler...

Good idea's. The login should be done to just 1 login now, clear all cache and cookies and tell me if it has issues logging you in from now. I'll see what I can do.

and I've cleared cookies cache..
but like after the 10th try all together...


By the way... is it NOT auto-logging out on the new one?


Also,clearing cach, cookies is not necessarily a reasonable option.
Considering
with previous version you do not have to..
and the clearing effects anything else that has cookies associated with it..

which comes back to "it's not your computer"....
or even if it is...you could be in some other browser based feature,
and clearing your cache would disrupt that feature.... and anything that one may be doing within it..

Not to sure for others, but for me, the anime is generally one of many things
"running" on cookies...
