seems universal across platforms and OS's being used, so it's likely a site problem.

im having issues like this too. i am automatically logged into the forums but it wont log me on where i can post comments on episodes or add mirrors or downloads or pictures. i type in my name and password. then the page reloads but nothing happens. its still not logged in.

Try refreshing the page yourself and see what happens. I had the same problem but it worked after I refreshed it.

Having the exact same problem, refreshing the page doesn't work either.

Try going onto the forums and then going to the front page

We'll be working on a fix for this within this week. We'll probably end up disconnected the login for the forums and front page. But it should be worth it if it keeps you logged in forever.

how are sessions managed on wordpress? database side or cookies? I had similar issues with joomla so dumped their default login and used phpbb3 instead through JFusion

I'm still not familiar with wordpress yet i need to try it out soon

Hehe we dumped wordpress months ago, we're using a custom coded cms atm

Atm we're logging in sharing the vb cookie as you can see. For some reason the thing conflicts or times out. We're trying something new tommorow as the coder is taking a break today. Possibly going to just use it's own system and not share vb's cookie anymore.

It logs in fine, but it wont keep you logged in that's the main issue.

cool hopefully it will go well, bridging up cms and forums always caused issues for me...hard to work them the way you want to

Yep, well we changed how login's work now, so it's now seperate logins. 1 login for front page and one for forums. Log in once and it should keep you logged in hopefully. Test it out people and let me know how it turns out.
