| Limping Samurai  |  Ok, I'm a Bit Confused on Something
So today when I go on the site I just so happen to take a peek at what anime is in the approval eps section and I noticed a user had posted about, I guess, a dozen or so eps of the series Code Lyoko. And that got me a bit confused...well confused because to be honest Code Lyoko is not really a 'anime'. It may look it, but actually it's not even a Japanese anime, it's a product of France (no, I sh*t you not, Wiki it if don't believe it). Don't get me wrong it's a cool series, but I knew back in the day when I watched I had found out then it wasn't true anime. Maybe the person that uploaded didn't, idk, but that got me thinking if these eps do get approved will they be added to the site? I mean, not to should like some anime purist or anything, but are we going to start adding non-Japanese based animation that has that 'anime' look on here as well; if so then I would suggest their be a separate category/section created for those (hell and if that's the case somebody add Aeon Flux, too, lol). Or I could just be too anal about this, but that's just my take. Thought I'd throw my 2 cents out there. (hope I didn't offend any Code Lyoko fans or the person that uploaded, I actually do like the series--just don't consider it anime)

Well we already had Avatar: The last airbender so i don't think having Code Lyoko is that big a deal. THen again, i was a fan of the series so i could be bias

Naw, same applies to Avatar really, the admins allowed it so I guess it's okay. I was never a fan of code lyoko though :/

Hmm, well okay. *shrugs* That's cool I suppose then. I never watched Avatar so I didn't even know we had it loaded on here, lol. Well if that the case then my open suggestion still stands for Aeon Flux! Perhaps I should head on over to that ol' request thread right about now, lol.  Quote:
