New AnimeCrazy Forums Skin Released + Faster - AnimeCrazy.net Forums

Well after 2 days in productions we are ready to release our new Default AnimeCrazy Forum Skin. Our goal this time around was to get as close to the front page template as possible, and I feel we got pretty close.

We are still working on the buttons, icons, etc, but for the most part it's complete so go ahead and test it out!

Yesterday the site was experiencing massive load due to the release of naruto shippuuden (darn narutards lol (I'm one too)) so I spent a good chunk of my day working on trying to speed up the forums, but everything I did wasn't helping out the server load so I gave it a rest. Then for some reason I looked through the source code of animecrazy and saw we had a javascript file that didn't belong there, heck it didn't exist. So I removed the link to that JS file and BAM the server load dropped like a bomb to the point where everything was running fast.

There you have it, enjoy a faster AC as well as enjoy the new forum skin. Also make sure to report any bugs via PM to me.

What skin do you see still? Press F5 on the forum home and see if that helps.

I only see animeC cool but the background is just black.

The background is dark grey lol, but yea that's the skin you should be seeing. It's the new one...
