simple i thought since u dont get on that much u can have the rank of a special death scythe, then u wont need a partner

Us Med schools
4 years undergrad most of which you dont even use in med school.
then 4 years med school
then 1 year internship
then around 4 years residency/specializing.

They have md/phd programs *for researchers) 7 years they pay everything since no one wants to do it.
