<blockquote>35 years have passed since Lynn Minmay had brought peace between the Zentradi and the humans in the events of Macross. Nekki Basara is a guitarist and a singer of the band Fire Bomber. Living in a less-developed part of the flying colony City 7 which is looking for a habitable planet, he composes and sings songs in the belief that music holds a greater power. During its flight, an unknown alien race appeared and started laying siege upon City 7. However, its attacks are not conventional -- instead of trying to destroy them, they steal what is known as "spiritia", rendering victims unresponsive and zombie-like. During these battles, Basara always goes out into the middle of the warzone, singing his songs and expecting friend and foe to listen and be moved by his music.</blockquote>

<blockquote>Tsukamoto Tenma is a second grader in high school who, like other girls her age, falls in love. However, she could not bring herself to confess her love to her classmate Karasumaru. She discovers that Karasumaru will transfer out next year and, with the help of her friends and her little sister Yakumo, tries to confess her love. Tenma also uses unorthodox methods such as disguising herself as a nurse or shooting arrows with a love letter attached to express her feelings for him.

On the other hand, Harima Kenji, a delinquent, has feelings for Tenma. Unfortunately, Tenma's preoccupation with Karasumara ensures that she doesn't notice Harima's affection, much to Harima's dismay. To make matters worse, one day, he sees Tenma and Karasumaru having lunch together. This causes him to skip school and embark on a journey of enlightenment.</blockquote>

Fumika and Kanaka are mail carriers- but not the typical kind. For one, Kanaka is a talking staff and for two, Fumika delivers shigofumi: letters from the dead addressed to the living. These letters are a final, true, communication derived from hate, hope, and love. The story unfolds following this pair and their uncommon job as well as Fumika

<blockquote>AD 2436. Thor and Rai are twins who've been raised in the space colony Yuno, of the Vulcan Federation Government, 150 light-years away from Earth. Their parents are killed in a horrific manner, and they are sent to the "Ju Oh Sei", or the Planet of Beasts, by the Federation Army. Ju Oh Sei, whose actual name is Chimera, is a prison planet for ferocious criminals where only the most ferocious 'beasts' can survive.

There are 4 communities on the planet, Blanc Ring, Sun Ring, Nights Ring, and Ocle Ring. They are divided by their skin colours.

Ju Oh, the King of Beasts, is the top dog chosen from each community, and they rule Chimera as kings. In order to avenge the murder of their parents, and to discover the truth behind that event, Thor aims for the position of Jyu Oh.</blockquote>

<blockquote>The only anime that basically everyone world wide knows, Captain Tsubasa, had a sequel made in 2002 due to Japan's hosting of the 2002 world cup. Road to 2002 is the only Captain Tsubasa show you can find still English subbed, since the first show is only available at this point in spanish. This show is a classic soccer anime chock full of specials, massive practice sessions, and fills the viewer with motivation as they continue the show. The fact this show is a classic pushes it up a spot or two. I just finished adding the complete show took a while.</blockquote>

It's a hard series to get into at first, it features a small puppy getting the s*** beaten out of it by it's owner over his feud with a big bear, then eventually the puppy joins up with other dogs and together they take this bear down.

The series really starts to grow on you though because it's a very adorable puppy that tries it's hardest, and then you get a wide range of characters who all share a sense of pride in being a wild dog and live life without worries and all have unique abilities.

In western countries the anime was released as a set of four VHS tapes, and censored for violent images. This led to the removal of several plot-critical scenes, including all footage from the episodes preceding the series finale as well as the deaths of certain characters.
