Thanks to this list I've started watching Whistle! again after I stopped a while back. Its getting really good and I can see why it got 7th place on the list.

I am not hating anybody and am really sorry if people have taken it this way since i really did not want to be too strong on this opinion to begin with, but let me clarify,if u suck either at basketball, tennis ,football, soccer ot even beisball to begin with, watching the anime, which by the way i do love dearly will not make u a better player,if u know anything about football u know that what happen in eyeshield 21 will not happen to u,if u like tennis and i love the prince of tennis ryoma came already trained from america so u know there is nothing u can do about that, and that is including some administrator here that said he got into tennis coz of pot, lol, good luck with ur drive b, lol, sorry just joking a little bit,but the button line for me is this,i used to practice, football, baseball, basketball, and tennis as my primary sports,i used to joke around with soccer never got good at it,and i used to love ping pong but even though i was good at it,i did not take it seriously coz of peer pressure at the time, what i meant at the end of the day is i do love anime and i love the animes that refer to the sports that am talking to coz they are great!but i will stand by what i say before if u got into a sport coz an anime, unless u are a kid that will stick with it,u are not going very far,but if u are really into the sport coz u saw the anime and only coz of that, there is something seriously wrong with u,not hating in florida, merrick.

That is hating. People can be inspired by many things. Whats wrong with being inspired from an anime? I got into tennis because of The Prince of Tennis and now I'm the second best player on my college team and I started from scratch. I didn't know anything about tennis and now I'm this good, I've been at it for 2 years and I don't plan to stop anytime soon. So you can say what you want to say and hate all you want but if I can get this good off of pure inspiration from an anime, then I don't believe anything your saying and neither should anyone else.

Watching Shin in Eyeshield 21 got me super charged to weightlift. Before I read Eyeshield 21 and I weightlifted, I probably maxed at around 185. About 2 and a half weeks later, when I was fully caught up with Eyeshield 21, and Shin had the effect on me that he did, my bench max jumped to 215. If that's not proof, I don't know what is.

And I know soon, I'll catch up to that ****er. His max is 315. That's my goal. Three plates, here I come.

Eyeshield #21 was a great anime for me and i haven't seen any of the other sport animes but a few look interesting.
I'm not a sports person but Eyeshield #21 was really addicting.
