I am very happy to see Major up there at the top of your list -- it's the first sports anime I ever watched, and I was hooked instantly, to my surprise. It's one I follow faithfully.

I've been watching Eyeshield as well, from time to time -- slowly catching up to what's most current. I really enjoy it, though it's not quite a "must watch" like Major is.

I'm considering watching Prince of Tennis, but haven't gotten around to it yet!

I read this a few hours ago, but I was actually too lazy to look at the whole thing. Most of my anime are finished now so I decided to check out #15 One Outs. And I think my mind was blown! I'm on the 24th episode since it hasn't been subbed anywhere online and I'm waiting for it patiently....Anyway I absolutely love this show. I've been watching it non-stop since yesterday (meaning like 11:00 pm) and haven't stopped until now to write this! I like baseball but have always been skeptical of baseball anime but seriously One Outs is basically a kickass anime dipped in awesome sauce. I love the characters and the plot. I find myself constantly amazed. Thanks for reviewing it, because most likely if you hadn't I would've never found out about it!

I've seen most of the shows listed and do agree with the general listing order. I'd place One Outs a big higher though, even if it is a new show, it's just that good.

Agreed. One Outs is amazing and should be placed higher since the whole series is out and finished. The plot was good and the games kept me on edge. Are the rest of them subbed? I haven't checked in a while.

Episodes 24 and 25 are the only ones that aren't subbed but an administrator checked out number 24 yesterday at like 11:00 pm or so and saw all of the complaints. He said that as soon as they found a translator the episodes would be subbed. It's been about three months or so since they came out too. But they're not subbed anywhere for free on the net unless you want to check out some place like Dattebayo or some downloading website. Sadly we'll just have to wait for the conclusion.

Wouldn't Over Drive (26 episode series about cycling) fit in the sports category, I enjoyed that one.

im currently watching overdrive, I think its pretty cool, I also agree that one outs should be lower in the list

anyway its sad that so many people dont watch sports anime because they dont really like the sport shown or sports at all, my friends for example, doesnt matter how many times I try, they dont want to watch neither eyeshield, major or ippo because they do not like neither baseball, football or boxing, many also say that sports is not what they are looking for to watch but still the anime that entertains me the most lately after one piece ofc is hajime no ippo followed by major...
