Prince of Tennis was Meh, Major is great. ^^
Slam Dunk was nice too, much better than PoT if ya ask me.

With Prince of Tennis, you have this 1 guy, who is a genius and can do anything, doesn't need to sweat, bleed and cry to reach the top. I figure that's why it was more of a letdown for me.

POT gets very predictable over time...

I wouldn't call Air Gear a sports anime. It is amazing though. I have a hard time reading the manga because it doesn't have the same feel as the anime.

Anyway, my list goes:
5- PoT
4- Eyeshield 21
3- One Outs
Major and Ippo tie for first.

I can't get into the soccer or basketball shows. I don't know why.

I agree on the manga, it's like the eyeshield 21 or the overdrive manga's.

The 2 things are about motion, there's no real motion in manga's. -.-

1. Captain tsubasa...(it was my childhood anime and what really got me into soccer)

Capeta wasn't all that interesting, Eyeshield got way too repetitive, Whistle got super boring and the artwork was rather bland.., Ookiku Furikabutte & Bamboo Blade over Aoki? 'cuz of what? Age? and original Tsubasa not even mentioned?
