Ten New Movies!

I haven't added all that many movies recently, and so I decided to add 10 today to make up for that. Enjoy everyone

1.Kung Fu Hustle

Set in Canton, China in the 1940s, the story revolves in a town ruled by the Axe Gang, Sing who desperately wants to become a member. He stumbles into a slum ruled by eccentric landlords who turns out to be the greatest kung-fu masters in disguise. Sing's actions eventually cause the Axe Gang and the slumlords to engage in an explosive kung-fu battle. Only one side will win and only one hero will emerge as the greatest kung-fu master of all

2.Heartbreak Library

One day, Eun-Soo, a librarian, sees Jun-Oh tearing off a certain page of several books and accuses him of vandalism. Soon, she discovers that theres a complex story behind his actions.
It occurs that Jun-Oh's girlfriend, who was a bibliophile and checked out books regularly at the library, had suddenly left him with only a mysterious note that says "Look up page 198". Because of the strange note, Jun-Oh goes to the same library and tears out page 198 from every book he comes in touch.
Seeing Jun-Oh's despair for not knowing why the woman he loved had left him, Eun-Soo starts to help him find the hidden message on page 198.

3.Running Out of Time

Crime Police inspector and excellent hostage negotiator Ho Sheung-Sang finds himself in over his head when he is pulled into a 72 hour game by a cancer suffering criminal out for vengeance on Hong Kong's organised crime Syndicates.

4.Naoko

A coming of age story about a young female athlete who struggles with the memory of her legendary father, whom she lost as a child. Based on a long running manga comic.The comic, which was serialized in Big Comic Spirits from 1993 to 2001, tells the story of a gifted young runner named Yusuke Iki. When he was a child, his father died trying to save a girl, Naoko Shinomiya. The two meet again unexpectedly, as Naoko has become a track and field club manager.

5.Gu Gu the Cat

Asako(Kyoko Koizumi), a comic book artist in her early forties, is devastated by the death of her precious cat, Saba, which kept her company for over 15 years, as her assistant Naomi(Juri Ueno) watches on with concern. Naomi(Juri Ueno) is a young woman in her early twenties, who has her set of worries about love and future. Then one day, Asako(Kyoko Koizumi) meets a new cat, Goo-goo, which brings new joy and vitality to her life. What is more, she finds potential for love in a man named Seiji(Ryo Kase). Like Asako, Naomi(Juri Ueno), too, embarks on a new life plan.

6.Wushu

Wushu tells the story of Li Er - a talented teenage sanda fighter (Chinese kickboxing) who falls in love with a beautiful girl training in wushu (a martial arts form practiced by international action star, Jet Li). In order to woo her, Li Er goes against his coachs desire to make him the provincial sanda champion, and takes up wushu instead. Li Er struggles with losing his sanda champion status to becoming a no body in wushu competition, while at the same time he tries to get his girl to notice him and not getting kicked out of school for his poor marks.

7.With a Girl of Black Soil

In the village of Kanwon where a few mines remain, a little girl(age 9) Young-lim lives with her brother(age 11) and her father(age 45) who lost his job at the mine because of black lung disease. Her father tries to search for another job, but it is very difficult for him. He is disappointed and he won't stop drinking. He wants to enter the hospital. For entering the hospital, he has to have another disease beside black lung disease. Young-lim thinks that her father can enter the hospital if he will drink a small but of rat poison. She tries to put in a little rat poison in her father's soup ..

8.When I Turned Nine

Yeo-min is a matured and thoughtful 9 year old boy who has too many things to take care of. First, he has to sell ice cream bars after school to save enough money to buy a pair of sunglasses for his mother who injured her eye while working at a factory. Second, he has to protect his friends from the neighborhood bully Black Bird. Third, when a pretty city girl Woo-rim moves into his village, everything falls into a great confusion.

9.Summer Whisper

Yeong-ju and Yun-su have to spend their summer in professor Noh's house, doing their part time job; Yeong-jo takes care of his books indoors, and Yun-su takes care of his flower plants outdoors. One day, the cat Deongchi leads them to each other, and they discover feelings of love which they never experienced before.

10.The Great Yokai War

A young boy with a troubled home life becomes "chosen", and he stumbles into the middle of a great spirit war, where he meets a group of friendly spirits who become his companions through his journey. Now he must fight to protect his friends and free the world of the spirits from oppression. The creatures and ghosts are taken directly from Japanese folklore and range from the cute and silly to the disturbing.

The summary you guys gave "Wushu" is not only highly inaccurate, it's also quite misleading. Not only does the movie not have Li Er as a main focus, he doesn't even have a love interest.

No one changes style in the movie, no one loses their "status." And poor marks? He and his friends are some of the best students in the school throughout most of the movie.

Perhaps you guys should watch a movie before giving a summary?
