You've picked well! Doesn't surprise me that Fruits Basket was #1, it was fairly good considering our oh, so low technology. Thrilled to see some of the older animes in the list but there were too many new ones, I find. Much better animes out there for you to include...

It's just me but Seto no Hanayome wasn't really my style. Could've switched it with something better...like Clannad. Good job overall though!

Is VK actually comedy?? I struck it as a serious type of anime, well, I'm pretty sure Matsuri Hino said that in the manga. Something about wanting to make a serious-type manga, but then later it was hard to think of the story and then she called her editor saying she wants to do a comedy, like Meru Puri...fickle but there was something like that. Side notes
