Top 15 Romance Comedies
Welcome to a long awaited and long procrastinated on top 10 article, i've been wanting to do for over 3 months now, and been putting it off to complete V2 for all you guy's and girls on here. I'm a fan of comedy's but recently I've ventured deep into the world of romance comedies, and I can't ever head back to the world of just manly anime's (Save Me!). So join me, take my hand, and let's step into the fuzzy world of Romance Comedies.
15th Best Romance Comedy - Fruit Basket
Fruit Basket is a sweet and unforgettable anime. It can make you laugh and cry in the same episode while offering some highly intriguing characters and memorable character relationships. A must watch for anyone interested in Romance Comedies.
14. Honey and Clover
From the moment I saw the first Opening song, I knew that this was going to be a very interesting show.
And indeed, it was. It does a great job of mixing comedy and drama as well as a unique storyline.

13. Full Moon o Sagashite
This is an anime about a girl who is going to die of throat cancer. Sounds depressing right? Well it's not lol. While the main character is going to die in a year, two shinigami (yep shinigami in a romance comedy) folow her around and give her one wish. Her one wish is to be able to become a famous singer so she can find her childhood love. To top it off, the main character is actaully voiced by j pop singer Myko who also does the singing in the anime.
12. His and Her Circumstances/ Kare Kano
Kare Kano is a powerful romantic-comedy that stands fair ground. It's clever story and quirky antics make it a must watch for anyone who considers himself/herself an anime fan.
11. Bokura Ga Ita
One of my favorite things about this anime is that the characters are real and believable. The conflicts between characters are ones that you would expect in real life. If you liked Fruit Basket, you'll love this one.
10. Hayate no Gotoku.
Parodies on top of parodies I'm wondering still how this show hasn't been sued for copyright infringement just based on how many parodies they've done. They literally parody 2-3 shows in every episode while developing the characters with it's own original story all at the same time. Hayate, a poor student who has horrible leeching parents one day finds he's been sold to the local loansharks, so he makes a run for it and by some chance lands a job as a butler of a short otaku girl. The "romance" starts off from there where the girl slowly falls for her butler slave, while Hayate has to balance her schedule, find a way out of debt, and become a better man at the same time. At times there are some random comedy moments that leave you itching to skip an episode, just do and you'll be bouncing back into the awesome fun.

9. ToraDora
Toradora is a really fun anime. It's the type of anime that's a slice of teenage life--school, fun, love, and friends.
If you like anime's like Lucky Star, Honey and Clover , School Rumble, you'll love this one as well.
8. Kodocha no Omocha
If there's ever been some one you wanted to punch down due to extremely excessive annoying laughing, and running around in circles it has to be Sana-Chan from Kodocha. She's so hyperactive that in her class she has a completely cool and calm Hayama-kun that's known as the "Demon Child" which controls the guy's in the class to be her counter balance. This show is filled with random bursts of fun, slowly developing comedic love, and best of all 102 filler less episodes to slowly build up the charactars, and to truly allow you to love the charactars for what they are. Awesome show that you'll either love or hate, I personally loved it.
7. Ouran High School Host Club
Tell me what does this story sound like: A poor girl wants to join a top notch school for the rich, so she dresses as a guy and enters the school via a scholarship only to fall slave to evil yet beautiful schoolmates. Yep that's right it sounds like a reverse harem, but believe it or not it's actually a great show for everyone. There's no really bishie about the show other then the drawing style. Well to be honest there is a little but since it's through the eyes of an almost emotion less girl it's definitely fun to watch. Each guy has his own loveable personality which makes this short 26 episodes show every episode worth watching.
6. Seto no Hanayome
Nagasumi-Kun! Yea the name sounds like some squeeze it bottle of eel for some reason, but don't fret it's another awesome romance comedy! Summarizing the show in 1 sentence, isn't hard. Nagasumi, a random guy, starts to drown in the sea, and a gangster mermaid, Seto, rescues him causing their fate to intertwine in a relationship that causes him to always be targeted by someone or something. What's so great about Seto no Hanayome is the random comedy that surrounds Seto's Gangster family, as they are all variants of fish with different profound personalities. They'll sometimes try to break Seto and Nagasumi apart, using their gangster knowledge, but if they aren't the one's trying to kill/scare Nagasumi, Seto's Cousin and childhood lover will come in and try to breat them apart. Of course comes in more and more hilarious charactars into the show which makes this show a one stop laugh tour.
5. Skip Beat!
Hatred and longing for revenge of another is not the usually fuzzy starter for an average over the top Romance comedy, but Skip Beat! takes that and pounds it into an one heck of an adventure. Kyoko Mogami, a poor hardworking country girl, vows revenge against her ex , Sho Fuwa, who used her to fund his jump to stardom while she slaved away in multiple part time jobs. In a bout of revenge Kyoko jumps headfirst into the world of idols, and uses everything she can to make herself more famous then Sho. Skip Beat is extremely fun to follow, as you want her grow up into a more capable, all around superstar. She falls in love with another main charactar later on the show which mixes the fun between Sho and him, causing a love triangle to form.
4. School Rumble
If theres a romance comedy where love hurts so much just from all the running gags it has to be School Rumble. From the very first episode Harima Kenji, the ultra manly cool main charatar, starts to go back to school more often just to see Tenma Tsukomoto, who he has a crush on. Sadly Tenma has a crunch on Karasuma Oji, who shows no feelings on his face whatsoever, and is content with just a plate of curry. What got me laughing is how hard Kenji tries to confess to Tenma, but then something would always occur which places him in a very awkward situation causing him to run away or back down. Let's just say this show mixes the best of school time romance, painfully funny gags, and a horrible fate for Kenji. So check it out!

3. Full Metal Panic
Ah, whenever Full Metal Panic is mentioned by anyone, it immediately sends a shock up my body causing me to shiver and my skin to prickle. That is just how awesome of a show FMP is. Full Metal Panic places romance in the backseat in the beginning and fires a rocket of mecha comedy into the beginning of the show, which will cause you to laugh so loud your cats/neighbors will want to know what's going on. The first season of FMA mixes school life, terrorists, mechs, and one hell of a crazy military expert who may seem to be absent minded in normal life, but packs one hell of a punch in the most dangerous of moments. 2. Lovely Complex
Want an anime that will make you laugh? Want an anime that will make you cry? Want an anime that will relieve stress? Well this is one is one that did that for me! This was my first romance comedy and it's still one of my favorites. It's set in a high school background about a tall girl and a short guy. Watch it and you won't regret it.
1. Nodame Cantabile
This is by no means the first romance comedy I watched, nor is it the most funniest of the pack. Nodame Cantible essentially takes you into a world of fluffy light music, where violins, piano, drums, and sloppy romance all mix together where you can follow the story of Megumi Noda "Nodame" and Shinichi Chiaki as they progress through their music careers. What got me in this show was how memorable Nodame was with her lack of focus and creativity when it came to her piano work. She would always had a ditzy personality, and whistled along while she played the piano. Chiaki who wants to be a top notch conducter who is scared of planes, and get's sick just thinking about them, meets Nodame by chance as he overhears her playing piano for fun by herself. Romance builds slowly throughout the show, all in the midst of funny antics, musical performances, and best of all fuzzy romance.

Making this list was incredibly difficult. There are just so many great romance comedies out there(and consequently on AC  ).
