Vaste Lordes

Yea I just Wikied it, I was mixing Vastro Lorde up with Arrancar. But still as far as human form in anything other than Vastro lorde is kinda off. The only thing other than them would be arrancar. No adjuchas that we've seen in the series so far has a humaniod form. Also none of the Espada are considered adjuchas anymore as far as I know after ther mask removal/soulreaperification. Thanks for fixing me up! Now fix me up some more!

From what im reading Espada are Arrancar not Vastro Lorde, Vastro Lorde is the highest evolution of hollow a whole different level, not arrancar which is what the espada are ( Hollows with Shinigami powers). But its possible some of the Espada were Vastro Lordes before they took their masks off.

See some of them fully did not either. Yammi was a Vastro Lorde and yet he has more mask than most of them... so the mask does not AS much in this (in reference to how much they have showing etc). That is my take on it at least... He was as well as Ulquiora. If I was not mistaken (which I could be ) Vastro Lorde was the ALL of the Aizens experiments and the Espada was the term for the top 10 Vastro Lorde. Like calling comeone captain does not mean they are not human, it is a rank. So therefore they are STILL Vastro Lordes but they hold the title of Espada. *Just my (whatever its worth) 2 cents, haha.

how do you know yammy and ulquiorra were vasto lordes? not all the espada are, aeroniero was a gillian, and grimmjow was an adjuchas.

Yea, I see no evidence leaning Ulq or yammy in the Vastro Lorde direction. Anyway I think its too obvious yammy wasn't a Vl considering Ichigo took him on without effort, and lobbed off his arm. Considering what we already know, Vastros alone are stronger than an average captain, but yammy was an arrancar, there just no way he was a VL previously.
Tops I see maybe the first 3 espada being VL, only evidence I have supporting this would be the ex espada. The former espada could have been kicked out by the creation of Vastro lorde arrancar.

So basically thus far we have;
1.Vasto Lorde is the most powerful form of hollow. A hollow can be a Vasto Lorde without being an Arancaar. Aizen turns them into Arancaar, but they were already a Vasto Lorde before ever meeting Aizen. They can also take it apon themselves to remove their masks, but Aizens method s more efficent and guarnteed.

2.Arancaar are beings with Hollow and Shinigami powers. They already had hollow powers and Aizen gave them Shinigami powers as well. Unlike the Viazard who started with Shinigami powers and then gained Hollow powers later.

3.Espada are the 10 most powerful Arancaar. So all Espada are Arancaar, but not all Vasto Lordes are Arancaar. There are some Vasto Lordes who are still only hollows.

1) Vasto Lorde are not Arrancar. Vasto Lorde are the elite of the Menos class. They have a humanoid type body, but they still wear their masks. The other two class of Menos are Adjuchas and Gillian (Gillian being the weakest).
2) When a Vasto Lorde gains Shinigami powers (by way of removing their mask), they turn into Arrancar.
3) Not every Arrancar looks human. Some still have the appearance of their original Hollow body. Such as Grand Fisher, who was an Arrancar, but looked nothing like human (when Isshin fought him, not when Ichigo fought him).
4) Any Hollow can become an Arrancar if they remove their mask and gain Shinigami powers. However, a Menos will obviously be a stronger Arrancar than a regular Hollow turned Arrancar (I question this part, but Grand Fisher was not a Menos, at least not to my knowledge, and he became an Arrancar).
5) When a Vasto Lorde becomes an Arrancar, they are guaranteed to take the form of a human. Adjuchas and Gillian are only a possibility to take the form of a human.

Also, im looking threw episodes AND I found something interesting, at the end of episode 146, Gin explains the arrancar class system. Quoting him -
"Toay we'll review the Arrancar class system"
"Of the three three Menos classes, the vastro Lorde are the only ones guarnteed to take human forms."
"Most of the lower-level Adjuchas and Gillian classes end up with bodies that aint fully human."
Pictures of the first hollows Ishida and Chad fought when coming into HM are on the screen...([Only registered and activated users can see links. ])

Which leads me to believe the writers don't even know what the hell is going on... Heh

i think i remember grand fisher saying something about devouring other hollows at one point? he may have became a menos? i think a normal hollow having the strength to become an arrancar by themselves is unlikely, and aizen wouldnt waste his time on them

Meh he might of become one, I doubt it though, we'll prob never know.

But yea, back on Vastros, we all must have a different opinion on what human is..
I guess if we want to get techincal, Stark, Halibel, Barragan,Grimmjow, and Szayel Aporro Granz, are the only espada that look "human" in my opinion.
