I'll have to agree that Ganju is probably the least necessary character, most certainly there for comic relief.
Kon isn't very necessary, either, however he has the benefit of being adorable, which gets brownie points most likely due to my feminine nature. *Laughs*
Sado, though less powerful than the others, seems a solid participant, much like how I see Inoue. Neither have incredible strengths, however their spirits are what keep them going and are something of an inspiration to their companions.

Sado gets alot more stronger and I think Kon is somewhat necessary cuz when Ichigo goes off all the time to beat hollows and all that, Kon holds down the fort in ichi's gigai. so, he is just a little tiny bit useful ^_^

hmmm The Most Uneccesary Person would have to be that guy who thinks that he can sleigh hollows *hint* (Mua-ha-ha *arms across chest*)

yea i have to agree with you he doesnt really affect the story line and is useless in most things

Hmm if anything the most useless character in Bleach has to be those three ****ing dolls he got from the Bounto Arc, like WTF!

i would say it is kon, he is funny and it wouldn't be bleach without him, but he never does anything to help anybody, and he never fights.

The most uneccessary characters are:

Chad/Sado

Don Kanonji(aka the "BWAHHAHAHAHA" dude)

and

Kurumadani Zennosuke (the Shinigami with the afro)
