men.. it was usless any way as long as we got the fine line ....... any ways it makes sence to me . i mean we are going to need some new captains some time so i think that he will release his bankai

Probably because his shikai sucks, and he won't go bankai in front of people.

Well hes an asshole, do your duty. Your mission was to protect the pillar, protect the f'in pillar asshole!
But your right, I love his fighting style pre shikai, but once he releases it almost seems pointless. Like Tite created it only for the dramtic effect when he fought Ichigo. The whole, oh noes its swinging around!

The guy on the last page of 325 looks just the same as when they started fighting so he probably wasn't released. How weak of Ikkaku. We should have known that when Ichigo kicked his ass in the beginning.
