Ok number one, Ichigo's mom being former 12th squad captain and promoted to the royal gaurd is nothing new. Some genius thought of that a few weeks ago.
Someone shot down that theory a while ago saying that Grand fisher was not strong enough to kill her if she was a captain, but if Fisher took the form of ichigo and she was not able to tell which was which she would have easily been defeated. Ichigo would have to if Fisher had hit him with a death shot instead of stabbing his right shoulder but that would have ended the show right there.
Number two, the royal guard theory may not be that bad. I still believe that all the vizard, Kisuke, and Isshin may be the royal guard put in the town because it is the only place a new kings key can be created.
Also the King of soul society may be Isshin himself. Hidden by Kisuke.
The reason hiyori may say she hates shinigami and humans alike is because she is shunned by both while she is protecting both.
It seems like not much is told about the royal gaurd in SS so it stands to reason that they put the vizards in the RG because they had power beyond captains; however they did not write this in the official records which would be why most shinigami would fear them.

New thought as well. Does a vizard that removes their mask gain power as a hollow that removes their mask?
I was just thinking that every time ichigo was about to die and could not move his hollow came out to save him, but when he ripped off the mask he had renewed power to fight the opponent for a few seconds longer. Was this just a story being a story or does the removal of the mask gain a new level of power.

Doubtful, the King was said the be in another dimension in soulsociety.
Also doubtful that shinigami who obtained hollow powers, the ultimate sin(In SS), would be the protectors of the king..Also considering the newest chapter things arent going to go well for the Vizard, and them devoting themselves to anything dealing with Soul society is unlikely.
Unless their helping extract revenge on Aizen...

lol...cant help it habbit..... but wat i was saying about that was ..ion kno just a theory.... that yu kno the 9th espada erinero arinneru or wat ever he took on the form of a shinigami that he was killed in (the 13th squads Lt.) and re incarnated in huecco mundo .. in his body .......maby thats how all the espada where formed and aizen is trying to get more ..... i was saying maby that there were more vizards then they were letting on about......... Dunno, I think he just made one hollow that could absorb people. He also took the form of the person he ate, none of the other espada have. But I dunno =)

HOLY CRAP!!!! Damn! Sooo many possibilities! I'm not even gonna try to elaberate on some of this till next week.......... I gotta go back and read the entire "Turn Back The Pendulum" 1 thru 9 again..... This is getting good..............

Just found this, kinda supports some of my previous posts so i'll share it with you guys!

"So anyway, I'd bet the hollowization of everybody has something to do with the area and the strength of the soul. Hyori got her ass handed to her before Shinji arrived and then began coughing her mask out in -101. So her soul had been weakened enough for the hollowization to begin. However, she still had enough strength to get mask first (remember back to Ichigo & the hole).

I think Aizen & Co. used the same sort of hollowization method earlier on with weaker souls and they 'sploded because they hadn't the strength to resist hollowization (souls dematerialize and rematerialize before forming their mask and becoming a full hollow). As one of the observers of the experiment says "I see, so an ordinary soul can't handle it properly". Hyori, Kensei, and Mashiro however could handle it, being stronger, so they got mask first and started battling to control their hollow.

Before Kensei and Mashiro hollowized Tousen weakened them, before Ichigo hollowized Shinji knocked him out, before Hyori hollowized Kensei beat her ass. So hollowization requires two things: a strong, weakened soul and some random thing Aizen will explain to us in due time. (Oh, and Ichigo tired himself out trying to get out of the hole before his first hollowizing but that situation might be different because it delt with a plus soul, not a shinigami soul."

i think your on to something... but about wat you said remembering back to ichigo .... now somthin else is coming to me .... maby they arnt aware of what they are doing lik you said they where fighting their hallow........ just lik ichigo but the kido master wasnt able to lock him up in a kido because he was being halllow fied..... idk just a guess....

Anyways since your Banned i'll have a conversation with myself...?
I don't think Ichigo was aware of what he was doing at first. But when he actually tamed his hollow in the Vizards hideout he was aware he was fighting for the control of his physical body.
It is kinda lame how Kensei was held by that lame Kido(Bakudo 99) whereas Ichigo burst right out of it. Even considering Kensei was almost fully developed while Ichigo only had the mask out...

WAIT WAIT...
Was Ichigo always able to pull out his hollow mask while being unaware of it? The mask saved him multiple times (SS arc) while him still being in control.. He was wearing the mask when he emerged from the hole at kisukes... He was also wearing wearing the mask when he emerged from the Vizard training too.
