I Think they are saving Ichigo's new moves for later in the series, but it wouldn't hurt to have him get at least one new ability

he might get something new if he did it might be like a cero beam but more power than the getsuga and he can control it

hes gonna learn something new either just before he fights aizen he will get training from someone probably zangetsu or one of the former espada or he will learn something while fighting aizen (or whoever the his final fight is with)

I agree his next technique will probably be cero. he used it when the hollow took control while the vizards had him training.
