True he may have been taller, however he was just a fitting example as far as humanoid appearance go. As suggested by the silhouette. Yep but, but taking someone with wings into consideration -Ulquiorra. His literal release was bat, it's very doubtful he was too comparable in size to humans.

But I don't see what were even discussing, help me. Yes they could very well be larger, but noones debating that I believe.

this is something that hopefully can clarify us a little:
