Well this is a thread on the discussion of Kenpachi's sword it's suppsedly in Shikai all of the time but look how the sword looks compared to other's his is plain and normal and has know special so mabye his sword is hiding it's true power cause Zaraki does not know his/her name just wandering what your thoughts were

this isnt an argument, rewatch the episodes, it says it directly, its always released. its not that his sword is weak and crappy, its that his zanpakuto, being a manifestation of himself, weakens itself to make the fight more interesting. and this is a stupid question, because no zanpakuto is "fully" released in shikai, or else bankai wouldnt exist? are u asking if we think he secretly has bankai?

its released lol, he says it, and yorouichi says it.... there are plenty of zanpakuto's that dont have a "power" .... some zanpakuto's are kido based, like ichigo's, they fire reiatsu like a kido blast, or have some kind of "power"... there are also zanpakuto's that are straight up physical types, ikkaku's for example, its a polearm. in fact, in the 11th squad, zaraki's squad, its frowned upon to have kido type zanpakuto's, in fact, Yumichika hides the fact that his zanpakuto has a "power", just so the rest of 11th squad doesnt think less of him... so no, dont expect to see any "powers" from zaraki's zanpakuto. its not the same as everyone elses, its longer, the blade is all chipped and jagged, thats how you know its shikai. thats all there is to it.

Ikkakus still has a power it turns into a poll with chain links there is more to it thn that I think hell find out his swords name then well knoiw for sure Tite said that he wanted to go into more detail bout Kenpachi soo
