Oh by the way I found an anwser to your question. Which was completley obvious but noone knew it (haha). So I found a page to help us! Its common knowledge that becoming a hollow is painful and stays painful. Evolving doesn't change that fact.



So obviously from this page I understand that becoming an arrancar releases you from this pain. So obviously they would follow him after releasing them from the agony.

i dont know where your pulling the "vasto's are as strong as aizen" crap from.
a vasto is about the power of a captain, aizen is at LEAST double the power of a captain, and has mastered every form of combat. and all of that is assuming he hasnt used the hogekyou on himself.

aizen couldnt become any more powerful as a shinigami, thats why he wanted the hogekyou, from his speach in SS, it made it sound like he would use it on himself. i guess its possible that he considers the power of the espada to be his own in a sense, though i think its more likely that they were just ginnea pigs for his experiments with the hogekyou, and afterwards he used it on himself.

and i doubt theres any "he gave me power, so ill follow him" BS going on, theyre hollows, i doubt they think like that. if they could kill him, they would.
